For years, there has been an unsolicited expectation that anyone who has a problem with alcoholism, can control it through self-will, and should be able to. The problem with that statement- there comes a time where no amount of self-will or human power can overcome the strength of this problem. With the help of other alcoholics, we have learned that all can be solved, through the proven steps that the ones before us have taken, including a viable relationship with a higher power greater than ourselves. This is the "meat and potatoes" that give us all the opportunity to be a better version of ourselves and continue to educate those who do not know the power of  this fellowship in which we are proudly called, Alcoholics!
